ESCROW Is Done... ANNA TOUCANA In The Wings!

Final notes on the ESCROW script and then it is DONE!

 

Doing the final read of ESCROW. Then I plan to read the longhand version of 233. This script is centered around a  spooky palm reading shop that conjures up some very evil things. I'm either going to jump into that rewrite with the goal of having it done by December, or, I'm going to write a comedy that will be done by January.

While that's happening, I will be laying out ANNA TOUCANA and starting the third book in the series (more on that below).

Escrow Is Almost Done!

School is Back In Session!

ESCROW is about one rewrite away from being done! I had wanted to have it complete by August 18th. Now, it’s looking like it will be the end of the month. Honestly, I thinking making August 18th a goal made it got done quicker because, without that, I might have labored on it longer than I needed to. I am starting my next script, tentatively called, 233, once ESCROW is done. It's centered around a very spooky palm reading shop that conjures up some very evil things. It's already written long-hand.

ESCROW has had pretty much all of its logic gaps ironed out. It is 2 and 1/4's of a rewrite away from being done and shown around. Not sure those numbers make sense but it's close! Logic Gaps

 

Sometimes you gotta put a pencil in your mouth for that old-timey effect.

ANNA TOUCANA is well into the 3rd rewrite. Now, I just need to finish it, make up a cover and make it available!

ESCROW is going well but, wow, one thing screenwriting does is force you to confront logic gaps. These are gaps in logic throughout the story. Due to the nature of screenplay writing do you fill the gap with action? Or, do you use a simple line of dialogue to explain things without explaining them? There are no easy answers... ANNA is almost in the 3rd Draft Stage!

 

New concrete put in outside as some writing happens inside. No, I didn't pour it!

ANNA TOUCANA should be done by next week! So I missed my plan to have it done by the middle of this month, but I am pretty darn close. Then I just need to make up the cover and it's publication time.
