Saddleback Book Saga, Mansplained and a Resuming of Other Work

Once again, still reworking the new book outline with Saddleback Educational Publishing. It's very close to being ready to write... I think! In fact, I believe I will be well into it the next time I do a website update.

MANSPLAINED shoots in 3 days on February 18th. There will be some more, minor things to shoot after that, but 90% of the movie will be done that day. The INDIEGOGO has closed BUT I think you can still be involved. Many thanks to everyone donated, shared, or just plain cared to check it out. For some reason, I am really nervous about this shoot...

 

UPDATE will resume next week as MANSPLAINED will be getting prepared to be edited. I've actually doing some research and expanding the UPDATE script in the meantime. Currently reading this to help bump up the script.

About HERMANDIBLE:

 

Nobody pays attention to Herman Gonzalez. His mouth always gets him in trouble. Then he gets stung by a bee and suddenly his mouth gives him special powers in the form of giant mandibles. Can Herman live with his new power? Or, will his mouth once again get him in trouble?

HERMANDIBLE is part of a 3 book series. The first 3 books will feature standalone stories (Vampoindexter and Anna Toucanna are the first two). HERMANDIBLE is the third one. Then, once the characters are established in those books, I'm going to start combining them into a bunch of new books. I've actually very roughly outlined 15 books in a series featuring these characters.

 

After that, I plan to write 1985-1986 which will be a novelization of this film I made. More on that later...
