New Book For Saddleback!

Last year celebrating Mr. Trout, Sr. with his family. The Trouts are great people.

Going to be doing a new book for Saddleback Educational Publishing! I should know more by next week but I'm really excited. I am always grateful to get to write for them.

 

UPDATE still goes well. Honestly, the scenes and dialogue aren't jolting me with excitement, but I find that usually comes when I move from writing the script longhand to typing it up.

The second draft of HERMANDIBLE is moving along! It's over halfway done and this is the draft that characters usually get more fleshed out, and the story always seems to gel together better for some reason. One more to go and it will be ready to be published!

About HERMANDIBLE:

Nobody pays attention to Herman Gonzalez. His mouth always gets him in trouble. Then he gets stung by a bee and suddenly his mouth gives him special powers in the form of giant mandibles. Can Herman live with his new power? Or, will his mouth once again get him in trouble?

HERMANDIBLE is part of a 3 book series. The first 3 books will feature standalone stories (Vampoindexter and Anna Toucanna are the first two). HERMANDIBLE is the third one. Then, once the characters are established in those books, I'm going to start combining them into a bunch of new books.

 

After that, I plan to write 1985-1986 which will be a novelization of this film I made. More on that later...
