My new YA book for Saddleback Publishing's Gravel Road series is done!

I literally just turned in the first draft of SENIOR YEAR to them. We recently spoke and it looks like I am going to write even more books for them.

I feel lucky and honored to be in this position.

This is the cover for my next book that is going to be released by Saddleback Publishing on 4/30/2014.

I will post more of a description as soon as they give me one. Lets just say that it is about a young adult who makes a bad decision and this impacts the rest of his life.

Just turned another short book to the great folks at Saddleback Publishing! In addition to that, I am going to be doing a new book for their Gravel Road series. It is going to be a young adult fiction book about loss. I am tweaking the outline and then I will start writing it.

THE MOTHCATCHER AND HALLOWEEN COSTUME continues to get chipped away at. It is starting to find its way to being on a regular schedule which means it will be done sooner rather than later.

Lastly, my friend Kevin Lindenmuth and I are currently teaming up on a book! I will talk more about that when I am able.

Happy 2014!

Here is the full interview I did for SPECIALNEEDSBOOKREVIEW.COM. I'd really like to thank Lorna d'Entremon​t for taking the time to do this.

Currently working on my projects with SADDLEBACK PRESS. So far everything is going really well. I just want to stay on top of things with them as much as possible. They are great to work with so that makes it easy.

ATTACK OF THE DRONE is almost done. It should be finished and available in hardcopy of ebook by the end of January from Amazon.

I have started THE MOTHCATCHER AND HALLOWEEN costume. It is going well. It is sort of shaping up to be kind of different than how I envisioned it. Truthfully, I don't know if this is good or bad but that is what makes the discovery process in writing so much fun, right?

Recently, I signed a contract with Saddleback Press to write 6 more books for them. These books are of a different variety and I will talk more about them as we move along. I have already started work on one of them. I am also hoping to write another book for Saddleback titled SENIORYEAROVER that is similar to SCREAMING QUIETLY in that it is for their Gravel Road series.

ATTACK OF THE DRONES, my next release for Ronni's Books, is one rewrite away from being done. Hopefully, by this time next month it will be ready to be published.

Next up after that for Ronni's Books is THE MOTHCATCHER AND HALLOWEEN COSTUME. This story is set on Halloween and it is about friendship, growing up and liking girls in middle school.

SCREAMING QUIETLY Wins A Medal!

SCREAMING QUIETLY has picked up a bronze medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards! Click here to find out more about them.

I was informed by Saddleback Press, who published the book, that future versions of it are going to have a medal on the cover.

I recently had a meeting with them to discuss writing more books for them and I couldn't be happier. I've been writing since I was 8. I always sort of thought I would write books and work with young people, however, I never really vocalized that. It is funny how we end up where we do.

ATTACK OF THE DRONES is going to be done by the early part of November. It will be out shortly after that. I have some interesting distribution ideas for it!

More Book Titles Are On The Way!

When I started this Ronni's Books page my goal was to do shorter posts than I do at my Anhedenia Films page. I also planned to post a lot more often.

Sadly, due to the time reasons, that is not happening but I am trying to get better!

Alright…

I recently wrote up another outline for SaddleBack Press! At the moment, It is titled SENIORYEAROVER. I should know their thoughts on it shortly.

Recently did a rewrite on another book I wrote for them. Originally, the book was called AS IF IT WERE NEVER DONE. Now it is called, SELF. DESTRUCTED. I can't wait to see what they do with it! So far they have done really well with getting SCREAMING QUIETLY out there and I couldn't be more happy with them.

I just finished the first rewrite of ATTACK OF THE DRONE. I should have that title ready to go by late next month and it will of course be added to my book offerings here.

Lastly, once that is done I am starting work on THE MOTHCATCHER! It would be great to be working on that story around Halloween as that is when THE MOTHCATCHER is set. There is a chance the book might be called THE MOTHCATCHER AND HALLOWEEN COSTUME.
